In 2019, Feyter Group celebrates its 60th anniversary. Starting out as De Feijter Staalbouw BV, a one-man business founded by Marinus de Feijter, the company has grown to become what it is today: a group of companies that operates nationally and internationally, offering a wide range of products and services. This anniversary was celebrated on a grand scale on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 May with a festive evening and a business relation day!
The Feyter Group organised an Open Day in Terneuzen on 11 May, which attracted a huge number of visitors. On the day visitors were invited to take a look behind the scenes at both Feyter Forklift Services and Feyter Industrial Services.
A red runner marked a route through the production buildings and workshops of both companies. On the extensive route, the first stop gave the visitors an impression of the sizeable Feyter Industrial Services machine pools at both the Machine Building and the Machining departments. A number of exhibits and products showed everyone what this machine pool is capable of. From the Industrial Services buildings, the route continued seamlessly to the Feyter Forklift Services workshops. Here, where everyone usually works their socks off on the technical preparation of forklift trucks, telescopic handlers and other machines, the workshops had been transformed into a large showroom. This provided a good overview of the full range of material handling machines, ranging from pallet trolleys to container handling machines. Outside on the premises, demonstrations were held all day long involving various pieces of equipment. Needless to say, all of this was combined with a drink and a bite to eat.
We would like to thank everybody for their interest in the Feyter Group! You will find a photographic impression of the Open Day below.
