This statement applies to the websites of the Feyter Group companies:

Feyter Group, which has its head office at Mr. F.J. Haarmanweg 17, 4538 AM Terneuzen, Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.

Feyter Group exercises due care in handling stored personal data, such as names and email addresses. We do not sell email addresses or other personally identifiable data, and only use third-party software for storing and analysing company and personal data. We have in place a processor’s agreement with these third parties, thereby guaranteeing that your personal data will be stored securely and will not be sold for advertising purposes. The small amount of personal data collected by Feyter Group, such as names and email addresses, is required for contacting you personally for contractual and marketing purposes. We will also exercise due care in handling data that are sent to us via contact forms or by email. These data will be treated as confidential information.

Feyter Group processes your personal data because you are using our services and/or because you have provided us with this information. Below is an overview of the personal data that we process:

  • Gender
  • Email address
  • IP address
  • Information about your activities on our website(s)

Feyter Group processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To contact you so that we may provide our services to you, if required
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products
  • To send our newsletter and/or other marketing materials from the companies within Feyter Group

 

Automated decision-making

Feyter Group does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. Such decisions are taken by computer programs or systems without any form of meaningful human intervention (for example, a Feyter Group employee).

 

How long we retain personal data

Feyter Group does not retain your personal data any longer than necessary and does so strictly for the purposes for which they were collected.

 

Sharing Personal data with third parties

Feyter Group will share your personal data with several third parties (software vendors) if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you, when legally required to do so, or to analyse customer and business associate data for marketing purposes. We enter into a processor's agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality with respect to your personal data. However, responsibility for such processing will continue to rest with Feyter Group.

Cookies and similar technologies

We have entered into a processor's agreement with Google establishing how the collected data are processed. We have not agreed to Google using the analytics information obtained from us for other Google services. However, Google may provide information to third parties if it is legally required to do so, or to the extent that these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Consent for cookies

Below is an overview of the cookies we use in addition to the analytical, technical and functional cookies. We use some cookies ourselves, but for others we engage third parties. These parties act on our behalf and we determine what happens to the cookies. Cookies are also placed and used exclusively by third parties. We have no control over such third parties and how they handle your data.

  • Google Tag Manager - privacy policy Google
    After accepting the cookie notice, a cookie (cookieconsent_status), anonymously storing acceptance of the notice, is placed.
     
  • Google Analytics - privacy policy Google
    To optimise the website, two cookies (_gat and _gid) are placed to anonymously register the click behaviour of website visitors.
     
  • Zoho SalesIQ – privacy policy Zoho
    The following cookies are placed for the embedding and use of the Zoho SalesIQ Live Chat:
    • LS_CSRF_TOKEN - This cookie is placed in a visitor's browser for security reasons in order to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks on the visitor’s requests. It helps you avoid being misled by malicious requests from malware and bots.
       
    • e3de1f7d42 - Is used to implement IP stickiness, i.e.: to decide to which server the request should be routed in order to avoid server overload.
       
    • sipartners-_zldp – This cookie is used to identify a visitor so we can group all of their previous visits and actions together under a single "profile". The value/date is encrypted to prevent non-Zoho services from seeing or misusing it. This cookie expires in two years.
       
    • sipartners-_zldt - This cookie expires in one day. It is used to count the number of times a user visits the website and does not play any role in visitor identification. This cookie does not contain any data that uniquely identifies the visitor.

Note: the privacy policies of the third parties may be subject to regular change.

 

Enabling and disabling cookies

You can opt out of cookies by changing the settings of your browser to prevent it from accepting cookies without your consent. Note: many websites do not function properly if the cookies are disabled.

 

Deleting cookies

Many cookies have an expiry date. If an expiry date is set, the cookie is automatically deleted when the expiry date is reached. You can also choose to manually delete cookies before the expiry date is reached. See your browser's manual for more information.

This Privacy and Cookie Policy does not apply to third-party websites that may be accessed through links on our website. Newsletter

We offer a newsletter to keep you current on developments in our industry, products and services. If you purchase particular products or services from us, we can also keep you abreast of our products or services, unless you specifically ask us not to do so. Your email address will only be added to the subscriber list with your explicit consent. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

We use MailChimp software for sending newsletters. We share personal data with MailChimp in order to send personalised emails. Feyter Group has a processor's agreement with MailChimp establishing how the collected data are handled. We have not agreed to MailChimp using the information obtained from us for other services. However, MailChimp may provide information to third parties if it is legally required to do so. We have no influence on this.

Security

Feyter Group takes the protection of your personal data seriously and uses appropriate measures to protect your personal data from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you believe that your personal data are not secure or that there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service or email us at info@feyter.com.

The Feyter Group websites using cookies have an SSL certificate (recognisable by the HTTPS preceding the web address in the URL). SSL is a technology that secures the connection between a website visitor and the server where the website is accommodated using very strong encryption.

Feyter Group has processor's agreements with the third parties - Zoho CRM and MailChimp - with whom we share personal data, establishing how the collected data are handled.

 

View, modify or delete personal data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. Moreover, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Feyter Group. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you may submit a request to us to send the personal data we have in a computer file to you. You can send your request to view, correct, delete or transfer your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@feyter.com.

Needless to say that we will also assist you if you have complaints about the processing of your personal data. Under the privacy legislation, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority about our processing of your personal data. To do so, contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
