The Manitou MLT940-140 V+ agricultural telehandler offers 9 meters lifting height and 4100 kg lifting capacity. This makes it one of the largest telehandler in the NewAg series from Manitou (even bigger telehandlers are available in the NewAg-XL series). The MLT940-140 combines the 136 hp delivered by a Deutz Stage V engine with a continuously variable transmission. This M-Vario Plus transmission combines precision and performance. The machine accelerates smoothly to 40 km/h without shifting and jerking.
Built for agriculture
The NewAg range of Manitou agricultural telehandlers is 100% designed to assist you on a daily basis in your wide variety of tasks. Because Manitou’s dealers are closest to you as a customer, Manitou has designed the NewAg telehandlers with the needs of the agricultural sector at their core, as expressed by the Manitou dealer network. The result after a design process of about 2.5 years are telehandlers with unparalleled comfort, increased performance and optimum cost efficiency (eg the new Deutz engine consumes 5% less fuel than the previous engines).
Vario Plus Transmission (CVT)
This continuously variable transmission (CVT) consists of two hydraulic radial piston motors driven by a hydraulic pump. At low speed, both engines operate, so traction is comparable to that of a torque converter transmission. At high speed, only one motor works. You reach the maximum speed (40 km/h) without loss of energy and also maintain more traction at that speed. Fuel consumption is optimised.
As standard, the M-Vario Plus offers an inching function and 2 control modes (Comfort and Dynamic), with which the MLT940-140 combines precision and performance and is very user-friendly even for the most inexperienced users.
